1): Termination
Hosting which expires and doesn't renew within 10 days from its expiry date and VPS Server within 48 hours and Dedicated Server within 72 hours will be terminated completely. Deleted data cannot be restored in this case. Clients will be informed either through email or phone calls. HostLegio will not be held responsible if the client fails to check their email or receive calls regarding renewals.
All prices can be reviewed at HostLegio.com at any time.
The following content is strictly prohibited on our servers. No refund or data recovery will be possible if we discover any of the following content hosted on your website:
- Don't Provide Free Hosting (For Reseller Users)
- High Traffic News Websites & E-Commerce Websites Not Allowed
- Spam/Threats Websites
- Phishing Websites
- Email Marketing
- IRC Scripts/Bots
- Proxy Scripts/Anonymizers
- Pirated Software/Warez
- Image Hosting Scripts (similar to Photobucket or Tinypic)
- Large collections of MP3, MP4 files and/or DVD/CD ISO Image Files, and movies
- Prime Banks Programs
- Lottery Sites
- Forums and/or websites that distribute warez/pirated/illegal content
- Fraudulent Sites (Including, but not limited to sites listed at aa419.org & escrow-fraud.com)
- Adult Sites (Porn Sites)
- Push button mail scripts
- Bitcoin Mining
- .tk, .ml, .cf, .ga domain hosting not allowed (if found, service will be terminated without prior notice)
- Hacker focused sites/archives/programs
- Commercial Audio Streaming (more than one or two streams)
- CRC, UCL, Mitra UIDAI, or any type of Print Portal Website strictly prohibited
Shared Hosting Warning: All shared hosting plans are for web hosting purposes only. We do not allow hosting of download files like mp3, wallpaper downloading sites, movies downloading/streaming sites, or bot sites under our hosting. All such sites will be suspended by our server team without prior notice.
2): Fund or Credit Balance
- No refunds will be issued after funds are successfully added to your HostLegio wallet (Credit Balance).
- Funds provided into the HostLegio wallet are strictly non-refundable.
- Effective from 14-February-2022, if you purchase hosting using your credit balance and later request a refund, the refund will be credited back to your wallet balance. It will not be refunded to your original payment method (bank account, UPI, or payment gateway). Please review these terms before adding funds.
3): Domains Registration
Customers are strictly prohibited from purchasing any domain name that infringes upon existing trademarks registered by other companies or entities.
Once a domain registration is completed, it cannot be canceled, modified, or refunded.
It is the sole responsibility of the client to verify that domain registration has completed successfully. In rare cases, domain registration may fail due to software conflicts, network errors, or other unforeseen technical reasons. If a domain registration issue occurs, the client must contact HostLegio within 7 working days. The client should notify our support team by sending an email to support@hostlegio.com to resolve the issue.
HostLegio accepts no liability for domain registration failures resulting from invalid or insufficient information provided to us, late payments, or technical outages beyond our reasonable control.
4): Backups & Recovery
- Complimentary Service: Automated backups are a complimentary service. We do not charge for backup storage. We can only provide data recovery files if a backup is available on our dedicated storage servers.
- Account Limit: Hosting accounts larger than 20GB will not be included in our automated backup cycles.
- Client Accountability: HostLegio is not responsible for files and/or data residing on your hosting account. You agree to assume full responsibility for all data transfers and maintain independent backups of your files and databases.
- Retention Details: Backups are rotated daily and stored on an external storage server, securing backup states for the past three days. This ensures that in the event of hardware failures or data center closures, you can retrieve backups up to three days old. There are no additional charges for recovery access. However, if your service is suspended or terminated due to terms violations, we reserve the right to deny data access and clear all backups.
5): Reactivation Fee
If your service or server is suspended due to malware, phishing, or other prohibited content, a reactivation fee of ₹1000 INR or ₹500 INR respectively will apply. No rebates will be granted under any circumstances.
We will temporarily suspend the user's account for a period of two days. Before reactivating the account, the user must remove all abusive content; failure to do so will result in a permanent account suspension.
6): Adult Content Policy
We do not allow adult content, including pornography, nudity, and illicit media. We enforce a Zero Tolerance Spam Policy.
1. Zero Tolerance Spam Policy: We take a strict stance against sending unsolicited email, bulk emailing, and spam. "Safe lists" and "double opt-in" marketing list usage will still be classified as spam. Any account found spamming will be terminated immediately without prior notice, and no refund will be provided.
2. Mailing Limits: Bulk mailing is prohibited. Individual cPanel accounts are limited to sending a maximum of 500 emails per day. Accounts suspected of spamming or bulk mailing will be suspended without notice (applicable only to Shared & Reseller Hosting plans).
7): WHMCS
All Reseller, Master Reseller, and Alpha Reseller plans include a pre-installed copy of WHMCS via Softaculous. This configuration does not include a license key, is not verified, and represents an installation service only.
8): Affiliates Program
- Affiliate commissions involving fraudulent activity, system abuse, or policy violations will not be paid.
- Referrer accounts must remain active for at least 60 days before payouts can be cleared.
- Referrals that request a refund for their purchases will not qualify for commissions.
- Affiliate commissions are currently only applicable to HostLegio web hosting plans.
- Traffic sources involving bulk email marketing, forced redirects, or coupon code/discount site manipulation are strictly prohibited.
- Affiliate accounts violating these rules or abusing the commission system will be terminated without prior notice.
- We reserve the right to modify, pause, or terminate the affiliate program at any time and for any reason.
9): DDoS, Infected Files, Viruses, Other Destructive Activities or Shell Backdoor
1. Abuse Restrictions: The use of HostLegio.com's services or network infrastructure to create, distribute, or send Internet viruses, worms, Trojan horses, ping flooding, mail bombing, or engaging in Denial of Service (DDoS) attacks is strictly prohibited.
2. Automated Malware Scanning (CPGuard): The CPGuard security system automatically suspends services when more than 10 infected files are found. If infected files persist after service reactivation, the CPGuard plugin will permanently remove/terminate those malicious files from our servers. HostLegio is not responsible for any file deletions or data loss occurring from this cleanup. Furthermore, if a client is found executing DDoS attacks or attempting to access server nodes unauthorized via shell backdoors, their account will be terminated immediately.
10): Misslead Policies Updated
(A) Correct Contact Information
If a customer provides false, incomplete, or inaccurate contact details (including email address, phone number, or physical billing address), their account will be suspended. The account will not be reactivated until verified, accurate information is submitted.
(B) Duplicate Account Restriction
Users are strictly limited to one account per individual on our billing platform. If a user is found creating multiple accounts, all duplicate accounts will be closed immediately. The system uses various telemetry parameters to detect duplicate registrations, including IP addresses, billing records, device cookies, and geographic locations. This ensures a fair and secure environment for all clients.
(C) Device-Level Bans
If a user repeatedly violates our policies and fails to update fake registration details, we reserve the right to lock the user's device. Device Lock: The user will be blocked from accessing HostLegio services and our client billing portal from that device. Any attempts to bypass this block using third-party proxies, VPNs, or bypass techniques will result in an automated and permanent IP range ban.
(D) Disciplinary Thresholds
(1) First Violation: If a client violates our terms under Paragraphs 1, 6, 9, or 12 — whether intentionally or by mistake — during their initial hosting setup, they will receive a one-time warning and will be eligible for a refund according to our standard Refund Policy.
(2) Repeat Violations: Repeated violations will lead to immediate account termination under Paragraph 1 (Termination), and a device-level block may be permanently imposed as described in Paragraph 10(C).
(E) Support Conduct & Abuse Policy
If a client displays abusive, disrespectful, or inappropriate behavior towards HostLegio support staff via any channel (phone calls, support tickets, live chat, or emails) — particularly when no genuine technical issue exists — HostLegio reserves the right to suspend the user's account and/or issue a device-level ban as per Clause 10(C). We expect respectful communication and are dedicated to resolving all legitimate hosting issues professionally.
11): SMM Panels
If you host a Social Media Marketing (SMM) Panel on our servers, you are required to purchase our specialized Plesk-based SMM hosting plans. You can BUY SMM hosting from here . If a user runs an SMM panel on our standard shared hosting servers, their service will be terminated immediately and without warning.
12): Software / WebPanel / API Change
We do not support or allow freenom domains (e.g., .tk, .ml, .cf, .ga) on our web hosting servers. If you purchase hosting with a freenom domain and use it for spamming or malicious activities, your account will be suspended immediately without any refund.
13): Unlimited Hosting Plans
Unlimited Hosting resources are not completely infinite. Since these packages operate in shared hosting environments, server resources (CPU, RAM, IOPS) are shared among multiple tenants. You are not permitted to use unlimited disk space, ram, or processor capacity to the detriment of other tenants. If your site's resource usage impacts server stability, you will be asked to upgrade to a VPS or Dedicated server.
14): OTP Verification using WhatsApp
User Authenticity Verification
All new and existing users are required to complete a one-time verification to establish authenticity. This process enhances security and trust across our hosting platform.
Abuse & Emergency Reporting
Verified user data may be used by the administration to contact users in the event of system abuse notifications or emergency updates.
Platform Connection
Upon successful OTP verification, users are linked directly to our automated dashboard to streamline communication and support.
Data Security & Confidentiality
We prioritize user data privacy. All verification logs are processed securely, are never shared with third parties, and are managed in strict compliance with our privacy policies.
User Consent
By registering and requesting verification, users willingly consent to complete the OTP check to secure their profiles.
Non-Transferability
Verified profile credentials are strictly non-transferable. Sharing or transferring verified details to third parties for unauthorized activities will lead to account suspension.
Compliance with Laws
Users must comply with all applicable local, national, and international laws during verification and usage of our services.
Terms Modifications
We reserve the right to update these verification guidelines. Continued use of our hosting service implies acceptance of updated terms.
By undergoing OTP verification on WhatsApp, you affirm your understanding and acceptance of these terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before proceeding.
One Person, One Phone Number, One Account
Our platform policy strictly enforces one account per individual, each verified with a unique phone number. Users are prohibited from creating multiple accounts with the same number. Violations of this policy will result in account review and potential suspension due to affiliate abuse and security risks.
15): Client Identity
When procuring VPS, Dedicated Servers, or RDP access, clients must complete a verification process by submitting their national ID, passport, or driver's license for authentication. This ensures compliance with security protocols and regulatory standards, bolstering overall server security and preventing unauthorized access. The provided identification documents are rigorously reviewed to confirm the client's identity and establish trustworthiness. Failure to comply with verification requirements may result in delays or rejection of the server purchase request, prioritizing security and client confidentiality.
16): Warning Level Protocol
Warning Thresholds
Users may receive up to three warnings for repeated support abuses, including spamming support channels on WhatsApp, disappearing during active support triage, or using inappropriate behavior.
Consequences of Non-Compliance
Upon receiving three warnings, the user will be blocked from WhatsApp and call support channels. Subsequent support requests must be filed exclusively via support tickets or email.
Designated Support Channels
Banned users must utilize email and ticket systems and await standard support queue response cycles.
Policy Adherence
By utilizing our systems, users agree to respect our support staff. Failure to comply with support warning terms may lead to further account restrictions.
